Why Should My Child See an Orthodontist
You might be wondering why we start so young. It’s really about peace of mind. The goal of early care is to catch potential issues before they become bigger hurdles. By guiding the growth of the jaw and making sure there is enough room for incoming permanent teeth, we can often make things much easier down the road.
Sometimes, early guidance can even prevent the need for more complex treatment later. We keep a close watch for common developmental signs like these:

When Is the Right Time for a First Visit
The American Association of Orthodontists suggests children have their first check-up by age 7. We know that sounds young! But at age 7, most kids have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth. This unique stage helps us see how their smile is taking shape.
We are trained to spot growth patterns that might need attention. Often, we simply observe and wait for the right moment. But if we do see something developing, we can figure out the best plan together.

I can’t say enough how AMAZING they are! Took my 16 yr old son in for consult and they worked with my tight schedule and got him started the same day. He kept saying the whole way home how comfortable and welcomed he felt and how everyone in the office was so nice to him. Dr Cohen, Rebecca, and Terra were all so awesome!
